Why it's important to protect patches after opening

THE CARE GEL patches are designed to adhere perfectly to your nails. But once the sachet is opened, they are exposed to air, humidity, and dust.

Without protection, the adhesive can:
– lose effectiveness
– become rigid
– no longer stick properly

Storing your patches in good condition extends their lifespan up to 10 days after opening.

How to reseal an opened sachet

Here's our simple and effective method:

  1. Never throw away the original packaging. It is designed to protect the patches from air and humidity.

  2. Carefully reseal the sachet, ideally with:
    – A metallic clip
    – Airtight adhesive tape
    – A resealable zip

  3. Store everything in a dry place (drawer or closed pouch).
    Avoid open bathrooms, sun exposure, or heat sources.

📦 Bonus: for extra security, slip the resealed sachet into a small plastic pouch or a rigid box.

Can they be used 2 weeks after opening?

We recommend using the patches within 7 to 10 days after opening.
Beyond this period, the adhesion may be impaired and the hold shortened.

This poses no danger, but the quality of the manicure may not be optimal.

Tip: create a "emergency patches" kit

Keep your remaining patches (e.g., small ones) in a mini kit to slip into your bag or travel pouch.
They can help you out in case of isolated detachment or for a quick style change.
